To design a marketing pack for the launch of Virgin Trains new Arrive Awesome campaign. The campaign introduced and promoted the new high-speed Westcoast train line. The marketing pack would be distributed to staff members on launch day and would contain each person's new name badge for the duration of the campaign.
Often Virgin Trains employees travel the entire length of the train line without visiting any of the stops between. My box would allow them to see, sound, smell, taste and feel products which will not only help them to 'arrive awesome' but also celebrate the diversity of entrepreneurial business and talent in the UK.
The box includes five gifts, each of which is designed to help the receiver feel awesome. Soap produced in the midlands, loose-leaf tea from Liverpool and honey from Lancashire celebrate the diversity of local business. I rode up and down the route, mapping and illustrating important landmarks along the way, which formed the basis of the box outer and interior.
